Valero and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Coastal Bend Regional Science Fair

Thank you for your service! The fair would not be possible without your commitment. Please register below so we know how many volunteers to count on.

Register as a K-5 judge

(Register as a K-5 judge if you have at least some college completed and familiarity with science.)

Register as a 6-12 judge

(Register as a grade 6-12 judge if you have an advanced degree or professional licenture in a science field.)

Register as a volunteer

(Anyone can register as a volunteer!)

Register as a chaperone

(Chaperones should be faculty or staff members from the districts represented in the science fair.)

Judge/chaperone dress code: business casual.

Volunteer dress code: you can wear jeans and a shirt representing your organization, or business casual dress.


The Exhibit Hall will be open ONLY to registered participants, judges, and volunteers during judging. In other words, the Exhibit Hall will not be open for observers or parents during judging. A limited number of grade-level chaperones for grades K-5 will be solicited from each participating school. Chaperones can be teachers or administrators of the school. Chaperones must be registered prior to the event and wear identification as a school employee. There will be chaperone assignments and training before the judging begins.

Parents may not be chaperones but may escort their children to their board 15 minutes prior to judging to meet the chaperone assigned to their child. Once the doors close, participants can no longer be admitted.
